Central Penn Fitness & Aquatics Center

I just called twice to try to tour the facility and become a member. Both times answering the phone they said quickly “can you hold” as soon as they picked up the phone. I said yes and then waited on hold for 5 minutes each time and then they hung up on me. I guess I cannot become a member.

A Hidden Gem. Central Penn has everything I personally look for in a gym and more: clean gym, clean locker room, not crowded, functional fitness/stretching room, power racks, sauna, pool, hot tub, and a bonus patio to get sun after you swim. This gym is my happy place. Keep up the good work guys!

This gym has leveled up big time under the new management. Brand-new equipment, fresh ideas, and an incredible atmosphere that blows the competition away. You can feel the care and vision the moment you walk in. Easily one of the best gyms around. 💪

I've had it with Central Penns refusal to post their hours on their website and their tendency to close the gym early. I've ask several employees where the hours posted on the gym Website and everybody just shakes their head and doesn't really care that they're not posted. So the only place you can see the hours is on the front of their door or a desk placard which is supposed to be the 9:00 p.m. but yet one night I came in at 8:45 P.Mand I was refused admittance telling me no Central Penn always lock our doors at 8:45 no exceptions. So I went up the street to Crunch Gym at 8:50 PM and I walked right in no problem did some Lifting for 10 minutes and left no problem and by the way Crunch actually post their hours on their website with a simple little link, but this is for some reason technically Way Beyond Central Penn. What annoys me is they just don't care. Crunch also has an easy-to-use app that I open up and scan my admittance. Over at Central Penn they don't have that you have to look for your stupid membership card every time and when I ask the employees about an app they said yeah there's a app somewhere, but it's not called Central Penn gym it some other name that's ha

Great gym with a welcoming atmosphere. It's rarely crowded which makes it easy to get a full workout in without waiting around. The equipment is all brand new and well maintained, and the people - both staff and members - are genuinely friendly. On top of that they have a pool which is a plus. Their restroom and locker room area is really well taken care of as well. It's aesthetically pleasing. They have this one personal trainer, the guy with the locs, I think his name is Sam. He is a very easy person to talk to. I've seen him just sit and talk with people in his office after they're done working out and seen how encouraging and honest he is when training people. Real GEM in that GYM. Front desk ladies are really sweet and welcoming and quick to help out as soon as you enter the gym. Overall, its an amazing gym.
